Beach Volleyball and Football

Beach volleyball is a brilliant team (and team-building) sport… and the beach is a perfect place to play it.

Beach football is simply fun; a good-time way to appeal to sports fans, competitive souls and game lovers.

What Can We Expect?

When you arrive on site, the volleyball and/or football courts will already be set up, ready for you to begin play.

We supply friendly and knowledgeable ‘monitors’ to show you how to play on the courts, to keep track of the score and help with game rules, where necessary. We can bring as many courts as required, but in general we work to one court per 20 people in your group. ​We also supply refreshments (water and soft drinks), which are included in the cost of the activity.

• What to wear: comfortable, athletic wear, sports or flat soled shoes
• What to bring: swimwear and towel, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat
• Health considerations: Running on the beach can be exhausting. Sand is harder to run on than solid terrain. If in doubt, choose volleyball instead of football, as football is much more likely to lead to injuries for anyone who is not fully fit.

Location:

Barcelona beaches can be very busy, and we have to take into account the size of your group in planning any activities on the beaches. We can work with bigger groups (more than 20 people) in Ocata beach, 18km North of Barcelona, or on Gava beach, 20km South of Barcelona. We can also offer a private beach space in Barcelona (Barceloneta beach, near the hotel W), at an extra cost. With groups of up to 20 people we can work on playa Novia Icaria in Barcelona, but only to play volleyball. There is sadly just not enough space for a football match on the beaches of Barcelona.

In Conclusion

An excellent set of fun and enjoyable, yet competitive, team building beach games… with the option of a hearty, delicious meal (accompanied by a glass or two), all enjoyed on a stunning beach, with a view of the sea as the backdrop.

Duration:

The activities take approximately 2 hours, without the lunch break/BBQ included.

Our prices include the sporting activities, all equipment and ‘monitors’, plus two soft drinks per person (water, coke etc).

Can You Supply Food (And Further Drink) Options?

Yes! At some of our preferred beach locations, we can help supply a delicious Spanish-style BBQ. ​
Expect a selection of tapas, including potato wedges, squid rings, mussels; plus grilled sardines, sausage (typical to the region and incredibly delicious), burgers, BBQ’d chicken and more… alongside a fresh, crunchy green salad and deserts.
Meals are served with (lots of) Spanish wine and beer.
