Giant Mosaic Team Building on the Costa Brava: An Event for 500 People

We recently brought 500 people together on the Costa Brava for a giant mosaic team building experience. Large corporate groups need fast, engaging activities. Therefore, this project unites large teams through shared creativity.

We hosted the event directly at the hotel. The group split into 70 smaller teams of seven or eight people. Each team built one specific section of the final design. Consequently, nobody knew how their piece fit into the broader picture initially.

Smashing Tiles and Creating Art

Participants grabbed ceramic tiles, hammers, and tile cutters. They actively smashed and cut tiles into required shapes. Furthermore, they arranged pieces onto specially designed self-adhesive mosaic boards.

This hands-on process resembles traditional artistic methods. Organizations like Mosaic Arts International document similar precision craft techniques.

The Big Reveal: 70 Panels Become One

Teams completed their individual panels quickly. Next, we assembled all 70 pieces together. What looked like isolated shapes transformed into one massive mosaic.

Ultimately, the final installation revealed the client’s corporate logo on a huge scale. For more creative project inspiration, check out features via Colossal Art Magazine.

Collaborative projects prove a clear point. When teams communicate and align their efforts, group results exceed expectations.
